Social Responsibility
Dr. Michael Stocker
Director, President & CEO,
Constitution Mining Corp
Constitution Mining's primary focus is on our shareholders. We believe we serve them best by dealing respectfully with the land and the people where we operate.
Whether we are working in Peru or elsewhere, we treat it as a privilege to be in the business of extracting wealth from the Earth's crust. We don't work alone. We understand that it is in our best interests to work cooperatively with the people and communities affected by our operations. And in order to work together, we stay on the alert for opportunities to cultivate trust and mutual respect. This means, among other things, opening all the doors we can to allow local citizens to share in our success.
We always prefer relying on local contractors and employees to advance our operations. And listening to local community leaders helps us better understand the sensitivities particular to their community. The result: greater mutual benefit and freedom from wasteful misunderstandings.
Environmental Pledge
We look out for ourselves when we look out for the land.
We follow all laws and all international mining standards for the protection of the environment. And we go further. Constitution Mining will never willingly contribute to damaging our environment.
We will only seek to develop gold deposits in areas where the work can be done with full respect for the land's natural beauty and its long-term potential for other uses. In Peru, for example the modern dredging and processing methods we believe are best suited for the extraction of gold from our deposits are green and clean. They require no cyanide, mercury or other toxic chemicals.
Whether it be the ongoing advancement of our leading property holdings in the Gold Sands of Peru or anywhere else we have operations, in all circumstances we will work to a high standard of environmental excellence.
Sincerely,
Dr. Michael Stocker - Director, President & CEO
Chairman of the Environmental Health & Safety Committee
